Sam Zhang opened TS Home Supply in 2021 — but the real story starts earlier, in 2015, when he stepped into the kitchen and bath industry for the first time. Before that, he was working an office job and driving Uber at night. His English, at the time, was nearly zero.

Sam grew up speaking Cantonese and Mandarin in Kaiping, Guangdong Province in China. He came to the United States in the early 2000s to be with his family, and spent years building a life here quietly and steadily. When he entered the trade in 2015, everything changed at once. He had to learn the products, learn the business, and learn English — all through real conversations with real customers.

He loved every bit of it.

Something clicked for Sam in that environment. The back-and-forth of helping someone find exactly what they needed. Seeing them light up when they got it right. Watching them come back later, asking for him by name. That connection became the foundation he built everything on.

By 2021, after years of building supplier relationships and learning the trade from the ground up, Sam started TS Home Supply. His wife had already been working alongside him, and over time it grew into a true family business — today Sam runs TS Home Supply together with his wife, his son, and his uncle.

We're still learning. Sam would be the first to tell you that. Every customer, every project, every conversation is part of the journey — and we're grateful for everyone who's been part of it with us.
